How does the process work with Radiant.

Floor Heating Installation Process

Below we have outlined the standard process that we would follow for most installs, by way of a guide only. For smaller jobs such as a bathroom, the process is often quicker and simpler.

Our Process

Receipt of plans along with areas to be heated & type of flooring (tile/burnished concrete etc) – send to sales@floorheatingwa.com.au

Itemised quotation supplied (split into zones if more than 1 room) with electrical load per zone along with options for insulation etc – generally larger areas will always need 3-phase power to property (subject to whatever other appliances/supply needed) Drawings also supplied by client or builder showing electrical provisions (to be completed by builders electrician).

Quote approval by client or builder

Receipt of PO if applicable & for in-slab heating the preferred location of the controllers to be advised & included in the electrical plans provided by client or builder

Estimated installation date advised & final drawings supplied by client or builder

Liaise with site supervisor/owner builder/concrete guys etc prior to install date & book in confirmed date

INSTALLATION DAY
Length of time for average installs – 1-2 hours per bathroom, full day for slabs & in screed/under-tile living areas

Call up of thermostats when ready for install by site electrician OR by Radiant appointed electrician (extra cost applies) – operating instructions & recommended usage included, set-up video available online

For larger jobs we are also available to do an on-site client handover / set up if required.
